The Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) in Armenia is pleased to announce a call for non-governmental NGO member candidates of the SGP National Steering Committee (NSC).
The Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Small Grants Programme in Armenia opens a call for project proposals in the framework of the “Strengthening Environmental Governance by Building the Capacity of Non-Governmental Organizations” project, funded by the European Union, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and delivered by the GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP)”.
The Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) opens a call for project proposals for implementation of community-based projects addressing desertification and deforestation - the main priority of the GEF SGP in land degradation (LD) focal area.
Today, the National Steering Committee of the Global Environment Facility's (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) in Armenia approved four grant projects in GEF-5 Operational Phase. The projects address the GEF focal areas climate change mitigation, land degradation and capacity development.
4500 gegharkuni (Salmo ischchan gegarkuni) weighing 3-5g and 1000 summer bakhtak (Salmo ischchan aestivalis) (8-10g) were released into natural environment - Martuni river - by “Global Eco” environmental NGO.
