CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS IN BIODIVERSITY, CLIMATE CHANGE AND CHEMICALS FOCAL AREAS

The Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) in Armenia opens a call for project proposals in Biodiversity, Climate Change and Chemicals focal areas to address the following SGP strategic initiatives in the 6th Operational Phase:

  1. Community Landscape Conservation,
  2. Low Carbon Energy Access Co-benefits,
  3. Local to Global Chemical Management Coalitions.

The application package and other relevant documents are available at http://www.sgp.am/en/index
Applications are accepted from registered national NGOs without foreign founders. Maximum size of the grant cannot exceed US$50,000 equivalent.
The proponents are encouraged to send project concept notes (up to 2 pages) to the SGP National Coordinator for technical feedback before a full proposal is submitted. Project proposals should be sent via email to hovhannes.ghazaryan@undp.org and svetlana.harutyunyan@undp.org.
The deadline for applications submission is September 20, 2019.
