NEW FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR GRANTMAKING IN BIODIVERSITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE FOCAL AREAS

 

The Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) in Armenia is pleased to announce the receipt of GEF STAR funds for grant-making in Biodiversity and Climate Change focal areas. Applications are accepted from registered national NGOs without foreign founders regularly throughout the year. Maximum size of the grant cannot exceed US$50,000 equivalent. 
The SGP Country Programme strategy, the application package and other relevant documents are available at http://www.sgp.am/en/index․
The proponents are encouraged to send project concept notes (up to 2 pages) to the SGP National Coordinator for technical feedback before a full proposal is submitted. Project proposals should be sent via email to hovhannes.ghazaryan@undp.org or submitted in hard copy to the security of UN Country Office (14 P. Adamyan St., Yerevan) for the attention of GEF SGP National Coordinator. 
Note: Ideas related to other thematic areas of GEF SGP are still accepted throughout the year.
